I asked Scott while I was attending his church for 2 years. For help on three different occasions. The third meeting I had with scott and my ex-husband Scott asked me Leslee. Haven't you been in abusive situations before? This is called victim blaming. Is not ok and no pastor should ever say this to a woman that was part of his congregation. Is my ex husband is under the jezebel spirit. This is something that Scott did not pick up on.He has known my ex husband for years. I don't think that he is equipped to rid his church of the demon that is sitting among the congregation on sundays. I have turned my passion into protecting women and children that are in domestic situations like I was when I was married to my X husband.

I found the pastor of this church to be arrogant. During church service while he was standing at the pulpit he liked to say screw this and screw that. I dated a password for a very long time. He never spoke like this. I brought to scott's attention that he has my ex husband who is under the influence of jezebel spirit sitting amongst the church fellowship. So if you're a regular attender or if you're new and thinking about going to this church know that you sit among demons. My ex husband has been part of this congregation for twenty years Scott the head of the church hasn't been led by the holy spirit to be aware of the fact that one of his congregation members is under the influence of jezebel. It is a real problem when the passer of the church does not realize one of the congregation is under the influence of Jezebel maybe this is something that scott cannot handle.

I was a member of this congregation During a 2 year abuse of marriage. I asked scott on three different occasions to help me. On the last meeting with Scott, he starts up by saying to me.The victim Leslee haven't you been in abusive relationships before? Scott I didn't appreciate you blaming the victim me. The man that I was married to that is still part of this church body is under the influence of jezebel spirit. I mentioned this to Scott in an email. I haven't heard back from him so I want to make sure everybody knows that there is a demon sitting in your congregation and your pastor is not doing anything about it.

Excellent sermon! I'm a newcomer to this pastor and have not yet attended a service at this church (just moved to Murrieta last week). A well balanced presentation here with many insightful and applicable points. Many of us have been in churches who practice multiple forms of spiritual abuse. This type of sermon provides the corrective for that. Servant-leadership and mutual submission under the ultimate authority of Christ who is the head of the church. Amen bro! I gotta get to this church! 🙂

I think this guy is wrong on a few major points. The sinful nature and sanctification are not as explained here. Calvinism is not Bible and is only proven by awful proof texting. This guy actually said God created you evil. If God created evil, he is evil. God created you good, Satan tempted you and you became guilty. If this man's logic is followed, God is the greatest cause of evil in the universe. Wrong!

Don't see the difference in if I sin God strikes us down or if we sin the law he created for sin strikes us down, next if God is happy with Us and we are made right through Jesus works, why do we still struggle and sometimes fall and bad and then the law of sin is going to reward us and then joy and peace is lost, it seems the legalist have a point, God can do everything yes, but at the end of the day if we sin it can strike us down
